The infrastructure that lets every other page get built. Theme system extracted, favicon designed, draft pages stubbed so the directory on the home page stops 404-ing. Trigger to close: all four sub-pages drafted (decisions, shortlist, buying plan, quickref), even if rough.

Lined up at three Richmond dealers; closing the powertrain question (OQ-1) ahead of any financing pre-approvals. Rear-seat car-seat fit is the real test — the numbers all work; the geometry might not.

Rewrote the brand preview into a proper brand book.
Added principles, expanded palette docs to HEX + CMYK + usage,
carved out italic-emphasis Do/Don't pattern. Page got long — that's fine.
APR 27 — MAY 3
Built the home page. Stat strip + recommendation block + page
directory with Live/Draft badges. Recognized that the home doubles
as a roadmap for the unbuilt sub-pages.
APR 20 — 26
Dark-mode pass. Lifted accent burgundy to terracotta, kept warm
surfaces. Decided dark mode is intentional, not inverted.

Extracted theme tokens out of the hub. Every color routes through
a CSS variable now. One swap, not three thousand find-and-replaces.
